Directions

A.) to Shrine of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha - Fonda, NY

rendezvous point for shuttles to Lake George Village, Tuesday - September 25

I-90 (NY State Thruway) to exit #28, Fonda-Fultonville; left after toll onto Riverside Drive, to traffic light; right at light, cross over bridge into Fonda; to blinking light; left at light onto Rte. 5 west; approximately 2 miles straight through town to Shrine, on the right

B.) to Shrine of Blessed Kateri from Lake George Village

I-87 south to I-90 west; I-90 west to exit #28, Fonda-Fultonville; follow directions as above in directions A.)

C.) to Lake George Million Dollar Beach public parking lot

Lake George Village, NY

1) approaching Albany, NY — from the west on the New York Thruway I-90, or from the east and/or south along I-90/I-87 (which overlap) — take exit #24 for the Northway, I-87 north; pay toll

2) follow signs for I-87 north and Montreal, CANADA

3) follow I-87 north approx. 55 miles to exit #21

4) following signs to Lake George, turn right (northeast) at end of exit ramp onto NY State HWY Rte 9N

5) follow Rte 9N downhill about an eighth of a mile to traffic light; turn left (north) at light onto US HWY Rte 9

6) follow US 9 north almost one mile to entrance marked Lake George Battleground Park and Beach area (at the Glens Falls National Bank); turn right into parkway

7) follow parkway a couple hundred yards to Lake of the Blessed Sacrament (more commonly called "Lake George")

8) turn right again onto the shoreline/beach road, and follow a couple hundred more yards to entrance for "Lake George Million Dollar Beach" public parking lot; park in lot and check-in

 

 

D.) to Cramer’s Point Motel & Lodge - Village of Lake George, New York
