rendezvous point for shuttles to Lake George Village, Thursday - September 22

  1. I-90 (NY State Thruway) to exit #28, Fonda-Fultonville

  2. right after toll onto Riverside Drive, approx. 1 mile to top of hill

  3. left at stop sign onto Rt 5S east, approx. 2 miles to Shrine

  4. right onto Noelter Road, up steep hill approx. 0.1 mile

  5. right into Shrine's cafeteria parking lot, on the right

B.) from Lake George Village to Our Lady's Shrine of Martyrs, Auriesville

Thursday, September 22 departure point for drivers delivering passengers to Lake George Village,
then driving alone to leave vehicles at Auriesville until end of pilgrimage

  1. I-87 south to I-90 west

  2. I-90 west to exit #28, Fonda-Fultonville

  3. follow directions as above in directions A., beginning at no. 2.

C.) to Lake George Battleground Campground & Monument of St. Isaac Jogues
Lake George Village, NY

first early-bird check-in point Thursday 16:30 - 19:15,
and for those wishing to camp overnight Thursday evening at the campground

  1. approaching Albany, NY — from the west on the New York Thruway I-90, or from the east and/or south along I-90/I-87 (which overlap) — take exit #24 for the Northway, I-87 north; pay toll

  2. follow signs for I-87 north and Montreal, CANADA

  3. follow I-87 north approx. 55 miles to exit #21

  4. following signs to Lake George, turn right (northeast) at end of exit ramp onto NY State HWY Rte 9N

  5. follow Rte 9N downhill about an eighth of a mile to traffic light; turn left (north) at light onto US HWY Rte 9

  6. follow US Rte 9 north 0.7 mile to entrance marked "Lake George Battleground Campground" (directly across the street from a gas station); turn right into campground entranceway and follow driveway to end, behind the monument

    D.) to Lake George Million Dollar Beach public parking lot
    Lake George Village, NY

    directions for last minute arrivals to check-in/rendezvous point Friday morning

    1. approaching Albany, NY — from the west on the New York Thruway I-90, or from the east and/or south along I-90/I-87 (which overlap) — take exit #24 for the Northway, I-87 north; pay toll

    3. follow I-87 north approx. 55 miles to exit #21

    6. follow US Rte 9 north almost one mile to entrance marked Lake George Battleground Park and Beach area (at the Glens Falls National Bank); turn right into parkway

    7. follow parkway a couple hundred yards to Lake of the Blessed Sacrament (more commonly called "Lake George")

    8. turn right again onto the shoreline/beach road, and follow a couple hundred more yards to entrance for "Lake George Million Dollar Beach" public parking lot; park in lot and check-in

      1. from the south, along I-87, take exit #22

      2. follow signs for "Diamond Point/Bolton Landing"

      3. left onto NY State HWY Rte 9N, Lake Shore Drive

      4. follow Lake Shore Drive one mile and a half to Cramer's Point Motel and Lodge, on the right
