The Turning Tide:

Four SSPX Bishops send joint letter to the Pope

Beneath the article, below, from Rorate, I also include the Spanish source (article) upon which the Rorate article is based. You may, however, encounter particular difficulty with one Spanish word, “Ojalá.” Although it is often used in Castile as well as in the Spanish speaking countries of South America, its meaning is not clear for foreigners. That is because it is used (at least in Castile) as a “support word” aimed at reinforcing the relevant desire with which it is connected in a sentence. Its apparent obscurity of meaning is due to the fact that the word was probably introduced in Castilian (Spanish) from Arabic, while the Moors were “landlords” in mediaeval Spain.

Note that in parts  of Latin America, where Spanish is spoken and written with the "peculiarities" the English attribute, mutatis mutandis, to American English, "ojalá" is often written with a "y" instead of the "j".  Not unlike their neighbours to the north, some South Americans irritatingly embrace ethnic linguistic influences which are familiar to them but which, extraneous to pure Castilian, are considered cacophonies, as well as cacophonous in Castile, where Spanish was born.  (Years ago I sent a cruel postcard from Burgos to a friend in Mexico with the silly message: "From the cradle to the tomb of the Spanish language"!)

The Turning Tide:

Four SSPX Bishops send joint letter to the Pope

Spanish blog La Cigüeña de la Torre (the first to report that the decree of removal of excommunications was imminent) reports this evening that a special letter has been received at the Apostolic Palace:

A joint letter of the four Bishops ordained by Archbishop Lefebvre was received in the Apostolic Palace, in which they thank the Holy Father for the lifting of the excommunications.

The letter, written in French, is very affectionate and conciliatory.

La Cigüeña also informs that Bishop Richard Williamson "has ceased [his functions] as director of the Seminary of La Reja [Argentina]". This information has not yet been confirmed.
